SEPM (Society for Sedimentary Geology) is an international society that promotes a synergistic approach to understanding earth history through the integration of the physical, chemical and biological subdisciplines of sedimentary geology.

Individual Subscriptions to the Journal of Sedimentary Research and PALAIOS are included in the Society dues. Please contact SEPM Headquarters for an application.

Student Discounts of 50% are granted for up to eight years with verification of status. Students receive selected SEPM publications free, and receive discounts on short courses, field trips, and research conferences.

Corporate/Library Subscription information may be obtained from the SEPM Headquarters (see contact information below).

Meetings: SEPM holds its Annual Meeting at the AAPG Annual Convention. SEPM presents the Congress on Sedimentary Geology, a biennial meeting featuring technical sessions and research symposia on a wide range of topics relevant to sedimentology and related disciplines.

Research Conferences are informal gatherings of geoscientists who meet for several days to exchange among colleagues state-of-the art ideas in a focused area of research.

Professional Development: SEPM Continuing Education Program members who are research authorities on the topic offer Short Courses, Core Workshops, and Field Trips. Comprehensive course notes are usually included.

Research Groups stimulate interaction among geoscientists with provocative presentations of current research by members of the group and lively discussions of controversial topics. Research Groups may also communicate to group members through newsletters.

SEPM Foundation: The SEPM Foundation provides support for Research Conferences, publications, education, student grants and other activities which promote the science of sedimentary geology.
