The Protagonists of Sequence Stratigraphy Caught on Video
This contribution proposes video clips where some of the authors of the AAPG Memoir 26 and Special Publication 42 talk directly to the geological community. The authors, as well as special guests intimately related to sequence stratigraphy, chat informally in front of a camera about their Eureka moments, their routine meetings, their approach to the problem, the role of serendipity and the future of sequence stratigraphy from both academic and applied industry viewpoints. This contribution aims to launch a new channel of communication, more appropriate to the digital era and completely new in our geological community. These video interviews represent a novel form of documentation, short, dense of content, funny and professional.
