An Integrated Diagenetic Study of the Mishrif Carbonates of the Rumaila Field (Iraq): Impact on Reservoir Characterization

Abstract

The diagenesis of the Mishrif Formation in the Rumaila field was studied along seven cored wells, in a well defined sequence stratigraphic framework, integrating petrography, geochemistry and fluid inclusion analyses, with the aim to define its impact on the distribution of reservoir properties.
