Imaging Passive Magnetic Signals: A Case Study from the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia
By applying qualitative and quantitative methods in the processing of gravity and magnetic data, a more detailed interpretation is possible beyond the typical regional scale. Gravity and magnetic data are widely used to establish regional structural trends and frameworks in frontier areas. The interpretation of more mature and developed fields requires identifying localized and small scale features or perspective areas of hydrocarbon accumulation.
