Hispanic Scholarship Fund, 55 Second St., Suite 1500, San Francisco, CA 94105

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) believes that the country prospers when all Americans have access to the opportunities a college education can afford. As the nation's leading Hispanic higher education fund, HSF works to address the barriers that keep many Latinos from earning a college degree. In addition to scholarship opportunities for deserving Latino students, we offer a broad range of outreach and educational programming to help students and their families navigate through the rigors of college life. In this session you will learn some general information about HSF's 35 year history of awarding scholarships, our outreach and retention work, and our goals for supporting the growing population of Hispanic students in the years to come. We will discuss some of our unique and customized programs, working with the oil industry, to not only award scholarships but to also support the recruitment of interns. We will share our applications timelines for 2013 and requirements of the programs.
