The Schoonebeek Oil Field, is currently being considered for re-development. A critical element for this re-development is an optimal positioning of the horizontal injector and producer wells in the shallow Bentheim reservoir. The original 3D seismic comprises a large structural uncertainty at reservoir level, which is expected to be significantly reduced with new hires 3D seismic. The impact of the (reduced) structural uncertainties on the well performances has been simulated in Petrel and the outcome supported the acquisition of new seismic. The seismic has been acquired in 2006.
