The study area is located along the western side of the Gulf of Suez which is 170 km South East of Suez town.

- This area is highly affected by rift tectonics and characterized by the existence of numerous tilted fault blocks with different dip magnitudes but generally with North East dip direction.

-Each of these blocks is bounded from the west by a major down to the west normal fault, which is associated with the construction of small step fault blocks and the creation of what so-called “fault zone.”

-This fault zone and due to its structural and stratigraphical complexity causes significant difficulties for the 3D seismic interpretations, which are :

-Poor Previous HitimagingNext Hit of deep horizon.

-Fault tracing and identification within the fault zone.

-In the current work, we concentrate on the velocity model building strategy as well as preconditioning the data for 3D Prestack Kirchoff Previous HitDepthNext Hit Previous HitImagingNext Hit Work.

-More than 400 wells drilled in the field were used to evaluate the 3D Previous HitDepthNext Hit Volume generated out of the current work.

-The objective from this work has been achieved as a result showed a good tie with the wells, improved deeper horizons Previous HitimagingTop and faults definition. The successful results will open new prospects for drilling in the future.
