ABSTRACT: Recently, a Previous HitseismicNext Hit bore survey (Walk-away) has been realized in Algeria. The aim of this operation is to a geological problem met in the production field of Rhoude Chegga (RDC). A though the RDC-6 well, has reached the top of structure and is situated 888 meters to the east of the RDC-1well, which produces oil, the results Were unfortunately negative .The RDC-6 well has been drilled in order to develop the Rhoude Chegga field.

Structural and stratigraphic Previous HitinterpretationNext Hit of the walk-away, recorded at the RDC-6 well, has given two hypothesis for understanding the negative results. Previous HitSeismicNext Hit Previous HitinterpretationNext Hit has shown two geological faults between the wells RDC-6and RDC-1 Probably, these faults act as obstacles for hydrocarbons migration. Previous HitSeismicNext Hit attributes show a facies variation of the clayey sandstones formation from RDC-1to RDC-6 (increase of clay).

At the RDC-1 well, the reservoir (Lower Trias) .is 3555 meters deep and 20 meters think. We can say that it can’t be imaged by Previous HitseismicTop conventional methods.
