hydrocarbon
migration within carrying bed systems has being
a difficult and critical problem. The purpose, in virtue of geochemistry and
organic petrology methods and techniques, is to look for the evidence of fluid
flow within sedimentary basin with multi-phase basin forming, multi-phase
reconstruction, multi-set of source rocks, multi-phase generation & expulsion,
and migration and accumulation and dissipation of
hydrocarbon
, and then to
research the movement of oil with multi-phase filling within the established
trellis of carrying bed systems.
distribution
between present reservoirs and faults in plane and section respectively,
according to seismic and log information, as well as other former research
results. 2. Observing the
fault
zones and fillings within cores, and looking for
petrology proof of
hydrocarbon
migration by means of the fluorescence color
difference of fluid inclusions on the basis of the
distribution
between present
reservoirs and faults. 3. Collecting and analyzing oil and core samples along
fault
zones, upper and lower sides of faults by use of the study on fluid
inclusions and nitrogen containing compound to find out the geochemical
evidences of
hydrocarbon
migration within carrying bed systems. Based on tracing
the path route of
hydrocarbon
migration within complex basin, it is helpful for
us to open out the spatial
distribution
of
hydrocarbon
, which is of great
importance to guide oil & gas exploration of the Tarim Basin, western of China.
