Abstract

Egypt is expected to undergo an excruciating energy crisis in the near future. This research presents a solution to such a crisis by developing the tremendous Previous HitoilNext Hit Previous HitshaleNext Hit resources that exist in the Quseir - Safaga district in the Eastern Desert which is expected to contain around 12 Bbbl of Previous HitoilNext Hit and 24 Tcf of gas.

Samples are collected from different areas in the Quseir - Safaga district. Rock-Eval pyrolysis, TOC and retorting experiments of such samples are conducted to geochemically characterize the Previous HitoilNext Hit Previous HitshaleTop deposit and confirm its potentiality.
