Abstract

For many years, Upstream National Oil Companies (NOCs) have been striving to accelerate meeting international standards of Previous HitperformanceNext Hit to support their strategy,vision,mission and objectives. This has become more significant in view of increased activity due to sustained Previous HithighNext Hit oil prices, the need to explore difficult oil and to enhance production from maturing oil and gas fields. At this juncture the NOCs are facing unprecedented technical challenges & paucity of capable technical manpower, need to improve their Previous HitperformanceNext Hit with increased participation of the national workforce. Effective competency development is a combination of awareness, knowledge, skills and attitude that must be demonstrated in order to meet the Previous HitperformanceNext Hit standards required of their jobs like recruitment, training and development including Previous HitperformanceNext Hit management. To further elaborate, key Previous HitperformanceNext Hit indicators need to be identified and described under different levels of competencies.
