The seismic reservoirology proposes an effective research idea and method for Previous HitreservoirNext Hit Previous HitcharacterizationNext Hit and modeling, which can be shorted for "four-step method". 1) Previous HitReservoirNext Hit Geology Study. Study on geological background and the basic characteristics of Previous HitreservoirNext Hit by geological data, Previous HitgeophysicalNext Hit data, and the dynamic data to confirm the Previous HitreservoirNext Hit genetic mechanism and establish Previous HitreservoirNext Hit geological model (initial model), providing the correct geological model for rock physical simulation, the standard sample and the validating model for Previous HitreservoirNext Hit seismic-geological interpretation. 2) Previous HitReservoirNext Hit Previous HitGeophysicalNext Hit Simulation and Method Experiment. Based on the petrophysical test, find out seismic reflection characteristics of Previous HitreservoirNext Hit to establish Previous HitgeophysicalNext Hit model. Then, confirm the effective Previous HitreservoirNext Hit prediction and description techniques by different Previous HitgeophysicalNext Hit Previous HittechnologyNext Hit tests. 3) Previous HitReservoirNext Hit Seismic and Geological Interpretation and Previous HitCharacterizationNext Hit. Using established Previous HitreservoirNext Hit prediction and description techniques carry out the Previous HitreservoirNext Hit identification and prediction by 3-D seismic data. Under the guidance of Previous HitreservoirNext Hit model, conduct the geological-seismic interpretation and Previous HitcharacterizationNext Hit. With the research data enriched, the Previous HitreservoirNext Hit geological-seismic interpretation and Previous HitcharacterizationNext Hit is an iterative process, where the established model of one stage is verified the verification and input value of the geological model, vice versa. 4) Comprehensive Evaluation and Modeling. Based on the above results, carry out Previous HitreservoirNext Hit comprehensive evaluation to determine the spatial distribution of favorable Previous HitreservoirNext Hit, establish the 3-D Previous HitreservoirNext Hit modeling by the final results. The final model can be an important basis for well deployment in the exploration, while it can play as the input model for numerical modeling during development, providing important basis for Previous HitreservoirNext Hit development programming.

Taking well Xia72 of northwest margin in Junggar Basin as example, using the research thinking and methods of seismic reservoirology, through the four aspects of Previous HitreservoirNext Hit geology study, Previous HitreservoirNext Hit Previous HitgeophysicalNext Hit simulation and experiment, the Previous HitreservoirNext Hit seismic and geological interpretation and Previous HitcharacterizationNext Hit, and Previous HitreservoirNext Hit comprehensive evaluation and modeling, establishing a local Previous HitreservoirNext Hit 3-D geological model and oil Previous HitreservoirTop model, it is strongly guiding the oil and gas exploration, as well as providing a good reference for other similar areas.
