The Yinggehai Basin, an elongate Cenozoic transtensional basin, is located in the connected area between Indochina block and northern continental margin of South China Sea. Dynamical mechanism for generation and evolution of Yinggehai Basin has become the debated focus due to its complicated Previous HittectonicNext Hit Previous HitsettingNext Hit. View on the regional Previous HittectonicNext Hit evolution, we study the Previous HittectonicNext Hit evolution features on Indochina block systemically, which puts significant effects on the development of Yinggehai Basin. It suggests that the escape-extrusion Previous HittectonicNext Hit and compression-extension Previous HittectonicNext Hit systems are the main factors controlling the Previous HittectonicNext Hit evolution of Yinggehai Basin. Three Previous HittectonicTop evolution phases of Yinggehai basin, that are sinistral strike-slip extension phase, middle-lower crust ductile extension and thermal subsidence phase, and accelerated subsidence phase, are divided. In thermal subsidence phase and accelerated subsidence phase, a diaper-related petroleum system developed.
