ABSTRACT: Previous HitWellNext Hit-Logging Activities in Russia

The report is a brief survey of the current state of Previous HitwellNext Hit-logging service in Russia (number and Previous HittypesNext Hit of crews, structure of Previous HitwellNext Hit-logging jobs, Previous HittypesNext Hit of techniques used, Previous HitwellNext Hit-logging equipment, auxiliary downhole jobs, etc.). Previous HitTypesNext Hit and peculiarities of Previous HitwellNext Hit data acquisition and processing hardware and software are discussed (petrophysics included). New Previous HitwellNext Hit-logging technologies used in Russia (new methods of electric logging data processing, electromagnetic logging, pulse neutron logging, nuclear magnetic resonance logging, acoustic tomography, logging-testing-logging technique, etc.) are surveyed. Comparison of the Tengiz field (Kazakhstan) Previous HitwellNext Hit data obtained by Schlumberger and Neftegazgeofizika Association crews is given. Several problems and drawbacks in equipment and technology u ed by Previous HitwellTop-logging crews in Russia are discussed.
