Cooperative Previous HitInversionNext Hit of Geophysical Previous HitDataNext Hit

Geophysical Previous HitinversionNext Hit by iterative Previous HitmodelingNext Hit involves a fitting of observations by the adjustment of model parameters. Both seismic and potential field model responses can be influenced by the adjustment of the rock property parameters and the adjustment of rock-layer boundaries. The objective of this "cooperative Previous HitinversionNext Hit" is to obtain a model consistent with all available surface and borehole geophysical Previous HitdataNext Hit sets. Although the Previous HitinversionNext Hit of real geophysical Previous HitdataNext Hit is always nonunique and ambiguous, we can lessen the degree of ambiguity by inverting all available surface and borehole Previous HitdataNext Hit. In general, the cooperative Previous HitinversionNext Hit of these various types of Previous HitdataNext Hit provided model responses that satisfied all Previous HitdataNext Hit sets. This concept is illustrated by a case history in which surface seismic Previous HitdataNext Hit, sonic logs, vertical seismic profiles (VSP), surface gravity Previous HitdataNext Hit, and borehole gravity meter (BHGM) Previous HitdataNext Hit were adequately modeled by using least squares Previous HitinversionNext Hit in conjunction with a series of forward Previous HitmodelingTop steps.
