In very complex areas with a high density of allochthonous shallow salt tongues, the success of exploration depends on the ability to obtain a good image. The methodology presented here is a new imaging technique called "Fast Pre SDM" integrated with a regional structural study. Thanks to the symbiosis between the different disciplines, it has been finally possible, in a large area where PSTM is completely blind, to select zones for more detailed imaging work, (Full iterative PSDM) based on of the probability of finding large structures and their imaging potential.
