Enhanced-Semblance-Weighted High Resolution
Radon Transform in T-X Domain
Radon transform has been applied to petroleum seismology and
become a common technique in attenuation of multiples in seismic process for
three decades. In this thesis, a high resolution
Radon transform in t-x domain
which is applied to common mid-point (CMP) gathers is introduced. This method
uses time domain weighted semblance weights in the interest of time variation,
is optimized by preferring energy to more significant p traces, and seems to
yield higher
resolution
than other Radon transforms in frequency domain or of
different algorithms. The proposed approach is tested on both synthetic and
real NMO-corrected data.
