Three Myths

Analyzes of development of modern geology show follow its state. One can imagine that two wells are being drilled. One well is characterized by high temperatures, fracturing, high intensity of fluids flows, while the other well has exactly opposite characteristics. Obviously, on the basis of the current geological concepts, a geologist would conclude that the former has been drilled in a recent geosynclinal's region, while the latter – on an ancient shield. However, this would be a mistaken conclusion. Really, the former, SG-3 (Kola super-well), has been drilled on the ancient Baltic shield and the latter, SG-1 (Saatly super-well}, has been drilled in a young geosynclinal's region. Such was demolish first myth of thermodynamic characteristics of different geological objects. Such Myth doesn't let to really estimate thermodynamic state of layers and to recommend for prospecting oil Near West and West Siberia., because Myth considered: "Oil-generating layers not mature". But more unexpecting results when Kola super-well not found out classical border between granite and basalt layers of Earth's Crust. What was considered to be basalts layers turned to be granite layers with more density. Such was destroyed the second myth of classical 2-layers structure of Earth's Crust. But on 2-layers structure now is developed conception of forming oil/gas and subsequent strategy and tactics of oil/gas prospecting! Granitization give intensity introduces of H₂ and intensity carries out hydrocarbons upwards into sedimentary layers. As well as under intensity of migmatization's process occur introduce of hydrocarbons, mainly CH₄. Intensity of introduce of hydrocarbons shut down third myth about exhaustion of reservoirs of oil/gas.
