Summary

This paper presents a methodology which integrates high resolution sedimentological data and seismic data by seismic stratigraphic inversion. The aim of this integration is to better interpret very thin reservoirs. The Panther Tongue (Utah, USA), which is Early Campanian regressive sand bodies prograding in the Mancos shales (“seaward pinch-out”) has been chosen to focus this methodology.
