To allow an evaluation of the perspective provided by certain nonseismic methods in the Val Verde basin, the synergistic interpretation of gravimetric and magnetic data, surface geomorphology, and the Ellenburger surface are compared to surface geochemical data and drilling immediate to the Thistle field, Pecos County, Texas.
