Importance of Translation Services in the Energy Sector

Abstract

This research looks at the increasing importance of translation services in the global energy sector. The goal is to illustrate that the language translations industry plays a pivotal role in the overall growth and development of the global energy sector, and that increased demand, paired with natural corporate wanderlust, has many energy companies exploring the international frontier. This is done through examining key industry events, including the revolutionary energy reform initiatives in Mexico, which are the first of their kind. Through showing the importance of language in making fundamental connections and establishing mutual understanding, this research highlights the fact that, without someone helping us to “talking the talk,” we would all be stuck doing business in our corners of the world.
