Abstract

This contribution establishes a preliminary framework for the interpretation and reservoir characterisation of Upper Ordovician pre-glacial (Quwarah Member), syn-glacial (Sarah Formation) and early post-glacial (Uqlah Formation) sediments in Northwest Saudi Arabia. The primary dataset is detailed core description of 15 wells augmented by wireline log correlation, FMI interpretation and glacial sequence stratigraphic principles.
