Advances in the use of Wireless Technology for Real-time Previous HitSeismicNext Hit Recording—Applications to Previous HitSeismicNext Hit Surveys and Previous HitPassiveNext Hit Monitoring

Abstract

It has proven possible to engineer a Previous HitseismicNext Hit recording system without using cables that also preserves the capability of real-time Previous HitseismicNext Hit data collection. To do this, it was necessary to utilize recent advances in radio propagation techniques, including special implementation of radio frequency interference avoidance algorithms, together with radio protocols suitable for the specific mesh network favored by Previous HitseismicNext Hit contractors. Using these Previous HitmethodsNext Hit, we have successfully applied this technology to 2D and 3D Previous HitseismicTop surveys as well as hydraulic fracture monitoring situations. To date, the technology has been field tested to 10,000 channels in over 40 deployments worldwide. Due to its modular and scalable architecture, it is expected that field deployments of 20-30,000 channels and much greater will be feasible in the near future.
