Abstract

A number of 2D seismic lines exist in a study area of over 6000 km2 containing only one uphole. The 2D lines have been modeled by extrapolation of this very sparse uphole control, which does not adequately sample the spatially Previous HitvaryingNext Hit depth/velocity depiction of the Previous HitnearNext Hit-Previous HitsurfaceNext Hit. In 2011, more 2D seismic lines were acquired, and modeled to tie a regional multiple Previous HitlayerNext Hit solution. Many of these lines contained a large shifts associated with additional travel time through un-sampled Previous HitnearNext Hit-Previous HitsurfaceNext Hit anomalies. A model refining step of tomographic analysis was incorporated into the Previous HitnearNext Hit Previous HitsurfaceTop model definition for each 2D line.
