Hydrocarbon Detection of Fractured Carbonate Reservoir

Hydrocarbon detection plays a more and more important role in exploration and development of farctured carbonate reservoir. When seismic wave moves through hydrocarbon fractured reservoir, it may result in energy attenuation and high frequency Previous HitlossNext Hit for the sake of imperfectly elasticity. According to the above theory, we present a new hydrocarbon detection technology of fractued carbonate reservoir base on wavelet attenuation spectrum. Firstly we remove noise of seismic data which decrease ambiguity of spectrum Previous HitabsorptionTop. Then we estimate spectrum of signal and wavelet for each trace from a horizon consistent time window both above and below the zone of interest by means of cepstral technology. Then we estimate attenuation spectrum of two time widows. Attenuating more severely show oil and gas accumulation. In practice application of fractured reservoir in y2 well field, compared with other hydrocarbon detection technology based on seismic data of reservoir, this technology is more sensitive to accumulation of oil and gas. This hydrocarbon detection technology play an important role in exploration and development of fracture type carbonate reservoir in y2 well field of T basin.
