Tsiengui Field, discovered in 2001 and been in production since 2005, has to date produced a total of 14 MMbbls from both Gamba and Dentale Formations. Gamba Formation in Tsiengui Field shows an exceptional reservoir characteristic with average core porosities of 28% and average core permeabilities of 3 Darcies. Dentale Formation is composed of much more heterogeneous lithologies with reservoir qualities lower than in Gamba Fm, with average core porosity of 26% and core permeability of 1 Darcy.

Hydrocarbons column is composed of a gas cap and an oil rim of 14 m thick. Standard log interpretation techniques based on Wireline Deep Resistivity states that the OW transition zone range from 3.6 to 6.5 m.

This poster presents the improvements on Saturation models based on new core data (CCAL and SCAL) and logs (LWD and WL), reducing the uncertainties on the transition zone and approaching to a more realistic Saturation Model.
