Time-lapse (4D) Previous HitseismicNext Hit can be effectively integrated into the Previous HitreservoirNext Hit management process by combining the calculation of Previous HitreservoirNext Hit geophysical attributes with the Previous HitreservoirNext Hit flow simulation. This is achieved by embedding a petroelastic algorithm to calculate Previous HitreservoirNext Hit geophysical attributes (P-wave and S-wave velocities and impedances) directly within the flow simulator. Embedded petroelastic models can facilitate integration of 4D Previous HitseismicNext Hit in Previous HitreservoirNext Hit management; improve the overall efficiency of the 4D processing and interpretation cycle; better engage simulation engineers in the use of 4D Previous HitseismicNext Hit; and increase shelf life of production forecasts through better Previous HitreservoirNext Hit characterization and more reliable dynamic modeling. Examples will illustrate how this workflow may be used to assess the feasibility of conducting a time-lapse Previous HitseismicNext Hit survey, monitor fluid movement, determine the optimum time to schedule 3D Previous HitseismicNext Hit surveys for use in time-lapse Previous HitseismicNext Hit studies, improve Previous HitreservoirTop characterization, make informed operational changes, and verify geologic sequestration of gases.
