Connectivity
from Pre-Production Data in a Deep Marine Turbidite Reservoir, Offshore

This paper will discuss the integration
of data collected from pre-production wells in the Greater Plutonio development
and its use in understanding reservoir connectivity.
The five fields making up Greater
Plutonio were discovered between 1999 and 2001 and will be brought onto
production in 2007. World-class seismic with strong DHI's and net pay
definition reduced the need for an extensive pre-sanction appraisal drilling
programme. Resultant compartmentalisation risk has been mitigated by front end
loading early development wells with data collection and appropriate design of
the depletion strategy, drill schedule and test programme.
This five field development has a base
well stock of 43, twelve of which will be pre-drilled. Integration of pressure
data, fluid data, core data, geochemical markers and interference tests from
these pre-drilled wells in combination high resolution seismic will be
discussed and the implications for reservoir architecture and compartmentation
described. This development is one of a number of multi-field subsea developments
offshore
