ABSTRACT: Extracting Low Frequency Velocity Information from Pre-Stack Depth Migration for Seismic Trace Information

To get a better Sub surface geology information from seismic data we can utilize low frequency data of velocity response in running a good seismic trace inversion. We normally get this information from well data, but for an area with a very limited well information, we have to get the information using a different approach.

The approach that is applied in this paper using a by taking the low frequency velocity information from the velocity modell generated in the process for pre-stack depth migration.
