Abstract: Geostatistics Applied to a Reservoir Study in North Western Peru ? Talara Basin

In an effort to fully use the Geostatistical Techniques (Krigging method) as a tool to analyze reservoir parameters such as Porosity (f), Permeability (K), Water Saturation (Sw); and Geological parameters, like Thickness (h), Net Sand (nsd), Formational Tops (fm. Top), it was studied a block reservoir of Mogollon Formation ? Lower Eocene ? Talara Basin, Northwestern Peru, in order to determine the production forecast and predict the Estimated Ultimate Recovery (EUR), based on production history and water injection results.
